Corporate Purpose
MAGDAS Social Business Hotel GmbH (abbreviated as MHG) operates attractive, economically successful, and socially and environmentally sustainable social business hotels under the MAGDAS Hotel brand to facilitate labor market integration and training for people who are marginalized from the labor market, particularly those with refugee backgrounds. The company creates meaningful jobs for its target group, supported by social work, apprenticeship programs, and targeted staff development measures. The company aims to have its target group members make up approximately half of its workforce. MHG is a European best-practice social business and encourages other hotel and restaurant businesses to promote the integration of people facing barriers to employment, particularly those with refugee backgrounds.
